שׁלח shlch The qal means "send" and is used at Am 7:10; though the hiphil is used similarly at 8:11.
The piel usually means "send away" or something of that sort. In Amos' oracles against the nations it is used in the phrase "I will send fire..." (1:4; 7, 10, 12; 2:2, 5) and of Adonai "sending pestilence" (4:10).
