Hebrew offers a way of linking words together, simply by placing them one after the other and pronouncing them as one word. This is roughly like the link English forms with the preposition "of". However notions like "man of God" (אִישׁ אֱלֹהִים) seem to be more strongly joined by the Hebrew construction. Often this construct relationship is used where English uses adjectives e.g. Am 1:9 "covenant of brothers" = fraternal covenant.
