Rashi
One of the most important biblical commentators of the middle ages. Rashi
(Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki) was born in Troyes in France, his commentary is usually
brief and focused on the grammatical meaning of the text. His commentary was
included in the great Rabbinic Bibles.
