This is our best estimate of how the divine name יהוה (yhwh) would have been pronounced (it was written without vowels). In traditional English translations this name is rendered "LORD". I have used "Adonai" rather than Yahweh or "LORD" because this seems the best way to keep the flavor of the original usage in modern English.
